Criteria
- Applicant must be a resident of Maryland.
- Applicant must be completing or have completed high school successfully with a minimum 2.5 GPA.
- Applicant must be a full time student at a program, trade school, college or university.
- Applicant must complete a 250 word essay on: Culinary Arts and Me.
- Applicant must agree to be featured in a promotional material.

Miss Charlotte, as she was called by many, was a fabulous cook. A graduate of the New York Institute of Dietetics, she honed her skills working at world famous Schrafft's Restaurant in New York City until they relocated out of state. From there, she worked in a variety of settings, including daycare centers, senior citizens centers and as the executive chef for Atlantic Records. Help continue her legacy with a financial blessing to aspiring students destined to be the Master Chef.
